Unlocking the Puzzle is a collaboration started by two moms - one in White County and one in Benton County. Both moms had the desire to start a support group for those who care for children with special needs be they parents, family, family friends, professionals or other interested individuals.
Although the puzzle piece is often associated with Autism, we think it's a fitting symbol for any special need. Each piece (family, friends, school, professionals) comes together to help you, the parent, make a picture of the people who will be valuable to you and your child. When you find all the pieces you need for your particular puzzle, together you will make a beautiful picture.
Our goal is to provide a forum for support and education while guiding our members to resources and opportunities for learning. We are working on a plan to meet together as one support group alternating months between White and Benton county.
